Remaining up to date on the regulatory environment is essential to a successful appraisal practice. This 2-hour continuing education course features both national and state-level presentations that will provide insight into new laws and regulations. Here from Keisha Wilkinson, NAR Senior Policy Representative for Valuation, about the 21 st Century ROAD to Housing Acts, recent state legislative actions and the work to standardize terminology across the real estate environment. Participants will also hear from Colorado and Idaho officials on licensing numbers, investigations, common issues in appraisals, and rule updates.

Students will:
– Understand the ROAD to Housing act and how it will impact appraisers and appraisals.
– Understand how MISMO and RESO impact appraisers in their daily practices.
– Get up-to-date information on appraisal licensing, investigations and complaints.
