Join us on Monday, April 20th for this special 3 hour workshop titled “Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence.” This is Part 1 of a 2 Part workshop. Part 2 will take place on June 15th from 1:00-4:00 PM. This three-hour workshop provides real estate professionals with a practical, hands-on introduction to artificial intelligence as it exists today—and where it is headed next. Participants move from foundational concepts, such as the AI hype cycle and emerging vocabulary, into applied skills including prompt building, data preparation, retrieval-augmented generation, and visualization. Through guided exercises, attendees use leading frontier platforms—ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini—to generate summaries, infographics, graphs, property descriptions, and market trend content. The course emphasizes real-world workflows, critical evaluation of AI outputs, and thoughtful integration of AI tools into real estate practice.
Objectives:
1. Explain where artificial intelligence currently sits within the technology hype cycle and what that means for real estate professionals in 2026 and beyond.
2. Define core AI vocabulary and concepts relevant to modern real estate workflows.
3. Identify and compare the strengths of major frontier AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
4. Configure AI tools effectively by understanding and adjusting key system and user settings.
5. Apply structured prompting techniques to build, refine, and layer prompts for professional-grade outputs.
6. Use AI to summarize text, generate infographics, and create visual assets that communicate market insights clearly.
7. Understand the fundamentals of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), including document chunking and source-based querying.
8. Prepare real estate data for AI use by exporting from MLS systems, identifying data types, and applying appropriate data scrubbing practices.
9. Generate graphs and visualizations from structured data to support market analysis and decision-making.
10. Evaluate AI performance across common real estate use cases—such as property descriptions, virtual staging concepts, and market trend reporting—while developing confidence in selecting the right tool for the task.
