Since March 2009, Jim has served as the executive director of the Appraisal Subcommittee. He is the senior staff person responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Agency including: development and implementation of ASC policies, program and budget oversight, and development of recommendations for the ASC members. Jim also represents the ASC before state and federal regulatory and legislative officials, and various appraisal industry groups. Jim started his appraisal career in 1986 performing both residential and commercial appraisals. Since that time, he has held various senior level positions within the appraisal, mortgage lending and banking industries. Jim is a Certified General Appraiser in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
