Join us on Monday, April 14th and earn 2 hours of appraiser continuing education. This course will focus on the Colorado property tax laws, history, and appeals process, with additional information on Wyoming, Idaho and Nebraska. The course begins with an overview of the major property tax legislative impacts in Colorado on appraisal methodology and how taxes are calculated. Current tax rules covered include property assessment, tax rates determination and the appeal process. The role of the appraiser in tax assessment, appeals, and working as a tax agent are also discussed.
