Please join us on Monday, February 12th at 7:00 PM via Zoom for our February course titled What’s So Bad about “Good”? Objective Report Writing.
Many reviewers are making appraisal revision requests stating use of words like good, inferior and other comparison and conclusion language are not USPAP compliant. Are these a violation of USPAP? This course will look at the use of subjective terminology and target what the revision requests are all about. Students will also learn that more objective language and support for conclusions are more important than ever.
The course will cover:
- FNMA, Freddie Mac, FHA unacceptable practices regarding language use
- How to target subjective language and unsupported conclusions in your appraisal reports
- How to use objective language to avoid these revision requests
Instructor: JoAnn Apostol
RMAA members will earn 2 hours of Colorado Appraiser Continuing Education Credit.
